Our children are important to us and they are important to God. Our childrens ministry here at GVBC is an exciting, energetic program designed with you and your child's benefits in mind. You can always be sure that your child will be taught God's Word in a safe, controlled environment with trained and caring staff.

youth

Youthopolis is an active youth department that caters to teenagers in grades 8-12. We have teens from all over the GV area join us for Bible study and activities on Sunday mornings at 9:45am, as well as After School Groups each Thursday at 3:30pm during the school year. Youthopolis is a place to make new friends, be challenged to make right choices, and grow in your relationship with God. Check out youthopolis.ca for more information.

adults

We exist to love God, grow in our relationship with Christ and serve others in our community and around the world. Our adult group meets on Sundays at 9:45AM. We spend time in worship, fellowship, teaching and care for one another. email

camp yES!

Since 1985, Camp YES has been the highlight of many children and teenagers summers. Each year, hundreds of youth learn of God's love for them, build lasting friendships, and grow closer to God. Camp YES consists of two full weeks of camp, one week for Juniors, Ages 8-12(13) and Teen camp, Ages 13-18(19). For more information and to download applications click HERE.

standing on the promises radio program

Since 1996, Standing On The Promises! Radio broadcast has been heard throughout the lower mainland of British Columbia and northwest Washington. Each week, Christ-honouring music and solid Bible preaching goes out to a listening market of over two million. Over the last few years, the internet has allowed us to offer this helpful and inspiring program to many more listeners. Standing On The Promises! can be heard in the local broadcast area each Sunday morning at 9:00am on KARI radio 550AM.

missions

Not only does GVBC have a heart for our community, but we have a strong emphasis on Global Evangelism. Our church currently supports over 25 missionaries and church planters across the globe. We have also had the opportunity to send out 3 church planters from our church family.
