Our church’s mission statement is simple. Love God and love others. The Bible tells us that we are to love God with all our hearts, souls, strength, and minds, and that we are to love our neighbour as ourselves. That is what we strive to do each and every day at GVBC.
It doesn’t matter what your spiritual background is or where you are coming from in life; our church is here to welcome you and to show you who Jesus is and what He can do for you!

At Greater Vancouver Baptist Church, we preach and teach the Bible literally, and we strive to practice what the Bible teaches.
Our services are filled with songs that point us to God and speak of His greatness, faithfulness, and love. Our services, most importantly, include the preaching of the Bible. We strive to take God’s Word and give the clear meaning of it with practical application for your everyday life.

As we seek to follow Jesus and what He taught in the Bible, we are told to love our neighbours as ourselves. That means that we have a deep love for those around us.
One of the ways that we show love is by telling everyone that we can about the good news of salvation that is offered to everyone through Jesus.
Another way that we love others is by living in true community with each other. Our goal at Greater Vancouver Baptist Church is to welcome everyone to church, to share with everyone the transforming truth of the gospel, and to connect with each other and grow together.
We have a wide range of ages and life stages at GVBC, and we seek to minister to all of them. From classes for our children and teens to groups for our young adults and above, there is something for everyone at GVBC, and we invite you to come and see how God’s Word and God’s church can change your life!
